How to Take Quick Notes in FireFox
While working on the internet using our internet browsers, there often come times when we need to note down the information we see. The physical way to do this is to have a pen and notebook handy to write down what we see. But in case of a lot of material we usually copy the text and paste it in a text program, notepad usually because of its speed.
The time required to open an external text editing program for our notes can be drastically cut down if we have a browser built-in note-taking tool. Such a tool could perhaps operate in a separate tab thus being superbly accessible.
An application like that does exist for Firefox users in the shape of a browser add-on titled QuickNote.
QuickNote is free small add-on that lets us create notes in a new browser tab, a floating window or a sidebar. The hotkey for the notes is CTRL+F7. The program can also be accessed by the Tools menu of Firefox:
